Come join us for some inclusive family yoga.
Family yoga sessions are a fun and interactive way to experience yoga while taking some quality time to support bonding as a family.
Family yoga for children with ASD is similar to general family sessions but with a smaller group, more awareness around sensory needs and lots of grounding postures and breathwork.
Using postures, sound, self-massage and mindfulness, these sessions encourage children (and adults!) to develop their body and spatial awareness, as well as develop strength, flexibility, confidence and social skills.
Suitable for children aged 3 -12.
No previous yoga experience necessary. As ASD covers a broad spectrum of individual needs, sometimes an initial 1:1 family session will be advised to ensure the group setting will be a positive experience for your child. If you have any queries please contact Tory to discuss.
